Computer Careers From Home
Any advice on starting as a part-time estate agent from home?
I am looking at starting as an estate agent part-time on my own. Looking for a career change. I am looking at selling from home, doing all the paper work myself. I am good with figures, computer, etc. I have a 3rd level qualification and have templetes for all paper work, contracts, etc that would required. Would anyone advise if I should give it a go. I live in a semi rural area and the local estate agent is not very highly respected in the area. Anyone have any advice?
Our friend has set up as an estate agent working from home with everything being done over the net.
She is doing very well as all her competitors are office based with shops in the high street, (with the overheads this involves). She has a lower commission level than the competitors so is picking up a lot of new work.
As most people now search via the net, contacting an agent over the net as a buyer/seller is now expected and normal! Of course she undertakes showings etc but doesn’t have the high fixed costs!
So yes it can – and is – working!
